Training Contracts
At Powell Eddison we are very pleased to offer a practical and knowledge based Training Contract.
Our team based and very friendly environment offers a great opportunity to trainee solicitors and we are pleased to recruit both internally and externally. With support from the Leadership Team we encourage our trainees to excel both academically, with regards client service and in aiding the growth and development of the firm.
Our trainees gain experience in a number of legal areas which can include commercial property, employment law, company commercial. landlord and tenant, civil litigation, private client, residential conveyancing and personal injury. The number of areas that trainees will usually work in is four. Regular reviews and up-dates will ensure that the trainee is on target and getting the instruction and experience they need.
The training contract for LPC graduates is a 2 year (or part-time equivalent) fixed-term contract of employment.
