Andrew has over 16 years’ specialist business experience in areas such as Employment Law, Company Commercial, Commercial Property and Dispute Resolution. Before entering the legal profession, Andrew studied for a degree in International Business and Languages and worked in industry abroad for several years. He then qualified as a Barrister, before transferring to work as a Commercial Solicitor. 
 
Andrew has vast experience of advising large retail clients, on strategic business issues. As well as undertaking business advisory work, he also regularly appears in Employment Tribunals and Civil Courts and conducts his own advocacy. 
 
Out of work, Andrew is Chair of the Leeds Property Association which is an Association of Landlords in the Private Rented Sector based in Leeds. He is also a Trustee of Harrogate Neighbours in Harrogate which is a Registered Charity which provides care and meal services for the elderly in Harrogate and surrounding areas. In addition, he is a meber of the National Landlords Association Advisory Board, the UK's largest membership organisation for private residential landlords. Andrew is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. 
 
In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his wife and children and enjoys going to the cinema, music concerts and on holidays abroad.

Sarah is known for her no nonsense and practical approach to all employment and Human Resources problems. Since 2007 Sarah has specialised in Employment Law, advising both employees and employer clients ranging from small owner-managed businesses to national companies. 
 
Sarah has experience in advising on a wide range of employment issues, from day to day advice relating to contracts of employment, policies and procedures, disciplinary and grievance issues, discrimination claims and Employment Tribunal claims. 
 
Sarah also has a wealth of experience providing non-contentious Employment Law and commercial Human Resources advice, support and guidance to Managers within FTSE 100 Companies. 
 
Sarah regularly provides bespoke training to clients and Human Resources professionals, designed to meet their specific needs. 
 
Out of work she has a keen interest in property, retail therapy and loves spending time with her family.

In her spare time Sara loves spending time with her family, cooking and travelling as well as doing a bit of retail therapy.

He has spent his entire working career in law, specialising almost exclusively in Personal Injury Litigation. He has a wealth of legal experience in all areas of personal injury to include in particular Medical Negligence, Industrial Disease, Employment Accidents, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accidents. 
 
David recently settled a medical negligence claim for in excess of two million pounds but he feels equally satisfied when settling minor injury claims for just a few thousand pounds, particularly if it has meant him fighting to gain justice for his clients. 
 
He is a hardworking and conscientious solicitor, but outside the office he transforms into a regular bloke who loves having fun with his partner and two children.

Rebecca has previous experience in Residential Conveyancing for another Leeds firm and has gained experience in sales, purchases, transfer of equity and remortgage transactions. She prides herself in providing a friendly service with good communication throughout. 
 
In her spare time Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking and visiting new destinations.

Having settled in Harrogate in 2019 Darren likes nothing better than enjoying a long walk in the Dales with his daughter. He is also an avid mountain and island bagger in Scotland and enjoys travelling particularly in Japan and Scandinavia.

Gabriella is the firm’s fourth trainee and so far Gabriella has experienced an array of departments from Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, to Commercial Property. She has aspirations of becoming an Employment Solicitor as she feels this area offers her the fast pace, variety and intellectual challenge she particularly enjoys. She has enjoyed facing the employment challenges brought about by Covid 19 and advising firms and individuals on the many challenges this has brought about. Gabriella is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. She prides herself is utilising every opportunity to enhance her skill set, whilst providing the client with a friendly and competent service. She works hard to ensure that the client’s needs are met throughout the progression of their file. 
 
In her spare time Gabriella enjoys walking her Cavapoo dog, going to the gym and spending time with her family and friends.

In his role John offers expertise and guidance to ensures clients fully understand the probate process focussing on their concerns and ensuring they receive the best outcome. 
 
He enjoys the variety of his role as no two jobs are the same and there will often be a new situation to deal with. 
 
In his spare time, John plays snooker & golf. Having in the main retired from cricket he does some umpiring in the Dales Villages evening cricket league and also some groundwork. He enjoys holidays in the sun just to get away from the English weather.

She deals with all aspects of residential property including freehold and leasehold, buy to let, auction and investment sales and purchases. She also deals with title issues relating to voluntary first registrations of title. 
 
Elaine is friendly and approachable and meets the needs of clients in a professional manner in what can be a very stressful time. Elaine has undertaken training as a Dementia Friend. 
 
In her free time Elaine enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family and friends. She loves to travel to different overseas places every year and also enjoys the odd cruise from time to time.

When not at work Garry enjoys history including visiting historic sites and reading about history, in particular Roman history, the Napoleonic period and the Second World War.
